C. Brendan Johnson has joined the international law firm of Bryan Cave LLP as counsel in the St. Louis and Chicago offices.Johnson is a member of Bryan Cave's Corporate Finance & Securities; Entrepreneurial, Technology & Commercial Practice; and Transactions Client Service Groups.He will split his time between the Chicago and St. Louis offices.
Johnson's practice encompasses a wide variety of matters, including venture capital investments (start-up and later stage), public and private merger and acquisition transactions, private equity fund formation, debt and equity financings and corporate governance matters.Johnson has extensive experience representing companies involved in biotechnology, financial services, pharmaceuticals, software and telecommunications.He has counseled clients on numerous cross-border transactions involving the United States, Mexico, Europe, Australia and Asia.

Johnson earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where he was senior editor of The Georgetown Law Journal.He graduated cum laude with his bachelor's degree from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public Policy and International Affairs at Princeton University.
Prior to joining Bryan Cave, Johnson was associated with Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw in Chicago.
