The club has lost two key players Morgan Jiya (captain) and youthful star James Mbando who have teamed up with ex-players from Motors and other darts clubs in the Central Region to form a formidable looking side known as Chesterfield.

Jiya, who is also captain for the national darts team and chairman for Lilongwe and Districts Darts League (LDDL), confirmed his departure from the glamour side, saying he has already featured in his new team.He said he reached at his decision following differences he had with the team's sponsors over the expulsion of experienced player Perks Ligoya.

We have now formed Chesterfield with the help of Chester Kayange, the owner of Chesterfield pub in Area 18 B. We had our first league game last Friday against C to C, whom we thrashed 10-2," said Jiya.
...
Jiya himself argued that he had formally resigned from Motors and was a free agent at the time the league was starting.
