Rev. Mark B. Jennings is the Executive Director of the Los Angeles TenPoint Coalition and an ordained Elder in the Church of God in Christ (COGIC).Jennings is committed to youth development, the black church and public education.He wants L.A. TenPoint to be the catalyst that drives churches to get more involved in the lives of high-risk youth.

Jennings earned a Masters of Divinity degree from Harvard Divinity School in 2004 and a Bachelors of Arts degree in Print Journalism from Howard University in 2000.While at Harvard Divinity, he was one of a handful of African Americans to participate in the Program in Religion and Secondary Education, which provided him with the credentials to teach U.S. history on the high school level in the state of Massachusetts.He is also a friend of church unity and a 2004 recipient of an Ecumenism and Missions certificate from the Boston Theological Institute.

Jennings has experience in street ministry through work with Al-Malik Farakhan and Cease Fire Don't Smoke the Brothers in Washington, D.C., and with Rev. Eugene Rivers and the Ella J. Baker House in Boston, Mass.

Jennings currently serves on the Board of Directors for Youth Opportunities Unlimited (YOU) in Los Angeles, Calif., and Straight Ahead Ministries in Boston, Mass.
