Dr. Jenkins was born in Fayetteville, NC.He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill with a BS Degree in Chemistry (1986).He holds the PhD Degree in Biochemistry from West Virginia University (1991) and the MD Degree at Duke University (1994).He completed his residency in Orthopedics at Robert Byrd Health Sciences Center.He completed fellowship in Spine Surgery at Harvard/Beth Israel Hospital (2000).
