Thomas Jayne

Gov. Mel Carnahan has appointed Thomas Jayne and reappointed Ruth Mach to the University Board of Governors.

Jayne is a partner in the law firm Thompson Coburn in St. Louis.He earned his bachelor's degree from Westminster College and his juris doctorate from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

He also serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Managers for the Central Institute for the Deaf as well as the St. Louis Arts and Education Council Board of Directors.

Tom Jayne went to high school in Kirksville , he knows the Kirksville community and has a tremendous interest in Kirksville and in this University , University President Jack Magruder said.
