Sarah Jay has just taken up the post of Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) Manager for County Durham and Darlington Priority Services NHS Trust.Sarah says, ‘We want to provide on the spot help, advice and support for service users and carers.We try to provide quick resolutions to issues which service users and carers raise about the care and service they have received from the Trust.This service does not replace the complaints procedure but you may like to approach PALS first as we might be able to resolve the difficulty easily.
