Dr. Richard Janssen is Director of Target Discovery at BioFocus, the partnering division of Galapagos NV.Prior to his career at Galapagos, Dr. Janssen held various research and teaching positions at the Nijmegen Center for Molecular Life Sciences, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the National Cancer Institute, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and the New England Medical Center.Dr. Janssen holds a Ph.D. in immunology from Groningen University and has published over 20 scientific publications.
