Dr. Janssen Joins Applewood Clinic December 20, 2002

Alegent Health announced today that Cindy Janssen, D.O., will join the team at Alegent Health Applewood Clinic on January 2.Dr. Janssen is a family practice physician who will also provide obstetric and gynecological care.

Dr. Janssen completed her family practice residency at Clarkson Hospital in 2002.She received her degree of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa in 1999.

Dr. Janssen said she is looking forward to practicing with the physicians already on staff at the Applewood Clinic.

"Applewood is a growing and dynamic clinic, and the physicians and staff really understand the needs of families," she said."My interest in women's health and pediatric care will be a good fit."

Dr. Janssen joins family physicians Pierre Lavedan, M.D., Kevin Nohner, M.D., and Donald Rigler,D.O., as well as Garret Parker, M.D., internal medicine, at the clinic.
