Janet Bass Smith Janet holds the Doctor of Musical Arts in piano performance from the University of Missouri Kansas City Conservatory of Music, and has master's and bachelor's degrees in piano performance from the University of North Carolina Greensboro and the University of Wyoming.She has done advanced study at the Juilliard School of Music and the Eastman School of Music.She has been on the faculty of four different universities, and currently maintains an independent piano studio in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
