The Author:

Hafiz S. D. Jamy was educated at Government College, Lahore.He joined the Police Force of Pakistan in January, 1954, and went on to hold senior appointments in the provincial and federal government, including that of IGP, gathering a rich harvest of experience until his retirement in 1990.While in service, he also did a Senior Command Course at the Police College, Bramshill, UK.After retirement, he served as Managing Director, National Police Foundation, for four years.He was also associated with the United Nations Congress on the Prevention of Crime for a number of years as a consultant.
