Zuckerman Spaeder LLP announced today that Brian T. James has joined the firm's Miami office.James will focus on criminal litigation in federal and state court.He is admitted to practice in Florida.
James earned both his law and undergraduate degrees from the University of Miami where he was inducted into the Iron Arrow Society.He served as judicial intern to the Honorable Judge Donald L. Graham, Southern District of Florida in 1998, and as a certified legal intern with the Dade County Public Defender's Office in 1999.James also served as an Internal Compliance Auditor for a Florida state bank, where he advised on the areas of mandatory and voluntary compliance regulations within the banking industry.
James is a member of the Miami-Dade and Broward County Bar Associations, the Black Lawyers Association and the Caribbean Bar Association.In addition, he serves as a trustee of the Arts and Business Council of Miami, and volunteers his time in support of the United Way, the Community Partnership for the Homeless and Habitat for Humanity.
