Legislature Confirms Rafael Jackson as USVI Commissioner of Tourism.Rafael K. Jackson, who has served the USVI government as acting commissioner of tourism, has been confirmed by the VI Legislature to serve as commissioner of tourism.Jackson, a St. Croix native, brings more than 24 years of tourism experience to the position from a variety of management roles within the travel and tourism industry.He has served as acting commissioner of tourism since March 20, 2000.
