Director Rae Jackson, Coach 17U, 14U Dream Team Coach Jackson is now the Head Coach of Fremont HS in Oakland, CA. Coach Rae is the Founder and Director of Bay Area Magic.He has been coaching youth sports for over a decade.He began coaching in the East Oakland Community where he was instrumental in bringing youths to the understanding that athletics and academics went hand and hand.He was hired in 2000 as an Assistant Woman's Coach Basketball at Contra Costa College.Coach Rae was instrumental in leading Contra Costa College to two State Final appearances and (4) Final Four appearances in the past (5) years.He was also responsible for all recruitment of student athletes for the college.Coach Rae is nationally known for being one of the top Amateur Athletic Union Coaches in California.Coach Rae has put together a comprehensive program.He instructs players on the fundamentals of basketball by preparing them for the next level.
