Gwyneth Irvine, Science Co-ordinator for Stickland's Primary School, explained, "We at Stickland's Primary School are proud to have strong teachers and pupils who are talented and interested in science.I am delighted that we have created a team that will make an award submission for the Rolls-Royce Science Prize.
"Learning about science can be fun and we achieve this as well as producing award-winning work.For example, we have just won a Healthy Schools Award for promoting healthy eating and healthy lifestyles.We are confident that our team is in with a chance to win," Gwyneth said.
