He was born on 7 April, 1929, obtained Diploma in Civil Engineering, University of Khatroum (1958-1954), MICE (1960), MASCE (1960).He was irrigation advisor, Ministry of Irrigation and HEP, and Commissioner Jonglei Development Projects (Deputy Ministry Status), and Chairman of the Permanent Joint Technical Commission for Nile Waters.He was Vice President ICID from 1977-1980.
