    Lorraine Ibold is a soft spoken, understated dynamo who really knows how to compassionately guide her clients through their life struggles to reach the state of personal inner strength.Ms. Ibold received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles, and her Masters in Social Work from California State University, Long Beach.She is an Associate Clinical Social Worker providing therapy to a wide range of client's needs at Carol Cole Center.She has practiced for twelve years as a social worker for Ventura County and Orange County Children and Family Services.Ms. Ibold specializes in domestic violence and child abuse and neglect.She has worked extensively with chemically dependent individuals.Ms. Ibold has been a liaison with the Human Options Domestic Violence Shelter.She has conducted individual and group counseling with students of the Santa Ana Unified School District.She has extensive experience in working with juvenile and family law court, with additional expertise in all aspects of divorce recovery, as well as the criminal justice system.Ms. Ibold has conducted trainings and presentations in child abuse and neglect and domestic violence to mental health professionals in Orange County.Ms. Ibold is also an adjunct professor/ field instructor with California State University, Long Beach.She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers.Some of the powerful groups Ms. Ibold is conducting for 2002 at Carol Cole Center include:

    2. Domestic Violence Survivor's Empowerment Group teaching new life style development and management, coping and assertion strategies, and sense of self worth.

    3. Divorce Recovery Group is designed to assist those in the divorce process begin to redefine their new roles and desired life styles, deal with the grief of the lost "ideal" of marriage, develop new networking resources, replace a sense of failure or discouragement with new found options and opportunities for growth and development for themselves and their children.
