His father, Canh Huynh, is a machinist in Newton.His mother isdeceased.They instilled in him some important business values.
"We've always been taught to do something you love, not do somethingto make money," Huynh said.
What he loves is entertainment.
"Eventually, I want to be the premier promotion company," Huynh saysof bringing musical and comedy acts to Wichita through EntertainmentEmpire, which now is a promotion company that creates theme parties.
Huynh makes extra money working for House of Schwan, a localdistributor for Budweiser.
"I go out at night and make sure people are drinking our products,"he said, "basically make sure they're having a good time, courtesy ofBudweiser."
So between that and his fraternity, he does know something aboutpartying.
"Yeah, just a little bit," Huynh admits.
But he also knows something about business.
"I've always wanted to be my own boss," said Huynh, a member of theYouth Entrepreneurs of Kansas, which is where he heard about thebusiness summit.
