After attending the College of Business Administration at the University of Oklahoma in 1985, Mr. Hutton worked for Gulf Canada Resources Ltd. as a Petroleum Landman.He then attended Law School at the University of Western Ontario and was later admitted to the Law Society of Alberta in 1992.

After working with a mid-sized Calgary based law firm, Mr. Hutton joined McLeod & Company LLP in 1994 and became a partner with the firm in 1999.

Mr. Hutton is a business lawyer and provides legal advice to small and medium sized businesses in the areas of corporate, commercial and securities law including; mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financing, corporate structuring, stock exchange listings, secured transactions, employment and shareholder agreements, business contracts, partnerships, joint ventures and intellectual property matters.

Mr. Hutton has a degree in Business Adminisration and experience as a Petroleum Landman with a major oil and gas producer in Western Canada.
