During the KCDOA Board meeting on November 13th, President Paul Hussey announced that he was stepping down from his position, effective immediately, due to his retirement from County employment.
...
Paul Hussey is a founding member of KCDOA and was the first President of KCDOA.
His guidance, experience, and hard work have been of critical importance to the success of KCDOA during the formative period of the association.
And likewise, his participation on the first two KCDOA contract negotiation teams has benefited all Kern County Detention Deputies.
The KCDOA Board of Directors sincerely thanks him and we wish him well in his future endeavors.
