Mike is the Foundation's first Chief Financial Officer.Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the CFO is responsible for enhancing the financial management and accountability within NSHRF; ensuring the timely preparation and management of all budget related activities, and assuming responsibility for ongoing administrative policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations of NSHRF.

Mike is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).Prior to joining the Foundation, he was a Financial Officer - Financial Management with Service Canada.Mike holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Saint Mary's University and in May 2006, graduated with a Masters of Business Administration from SMU.A native of North River, Newfoundland, Mike is the hockey coach for the Bedford Blues AAA Hockey team.
