The college has already raised nearly $2.1 million, and has set a goal of $30 million, said Susan Hunter, vice president of advancement for NCNM.

In the meantime, the private nonprofit school expects to raise enough money to buy the property, said Susan Hunter, vice president of advancement.

The college expects to start renovation work on the buildings later this month and finish in December 2009.The buildings will house a naturopathic clinic, classical Chinese medicine and a nature cure healing spa with a salt pool and mud wraps.Hunter said they also hope to expand services to the poor.
