Dr. Susan Hunter

Dr. Susan Hunter is a Board Certified OB/GYN with over 10 years experience. She provides a full spectrum of care for women of all ages.

She is an Arizona native who attended Arizona State University and graduated suma cum laude and phi beta kappa with a BS in zoology. She earned her medical degree from Northwestern University in Chicago, followed by OB/GYN residency in Galveston, Texas.

During residency, she frequently traveled to the Rio Grande Valley and fell in love with the area. She co-founded Womens Health Specialists in 2001.

During her practice, she received many requests for cosmetic services, and being an over-30 woman herself, she wanted access to high quality, doctor-supervised, non-invasive cosmetic services with no or little downtime.

She could not find this in the Valley, so she started limited laser services for her patients in 2005. She added two additional lasers and created Bella Luz... in 2006, again not advertising but providing services to patients and employees.

With the addition of two more state-of-the-art systems, she has decided to go public. Her goal is to offer only the highest quality, FDA cleared services and products consistent with her reputation as an excellent physician and surgeon.
