Mr. Hsu joined Pacific Life in January 1998 as vice president of Technology in the Annuities & Mutual Funds Division. In this role, he was responsible for all aspects of technology necessary to help excel the division's business objectives including state of the art policy administration systems, network operations, and strategic information systems such as internet, data warehouse, and sales force automation. Mr. Hsu was promoted to senior vice president of Administration in April 2001. At this time, he was given added responsibility of managing all Operations departments including award winning Customer Service, New Business, Contract Administration, Licensing and Commission, and the Document Control Center.

Mr. Hsu has over 20 years of management and technology experience with 10 of these years in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Pacific Life, he worked for Xerox Corporation as a product manager responsible for a family of high-end electronic printing systems. At Xerox, he received a patent on organizing color palettes for the world's first high speed highlight color printer.

Robert Hsu was promoted to senior vice president of administration in the annuities division.He oversees the development and support of custom software applications and client/server networks to support contract administration and marketing needs in annuities and will assume responsibility for the annuities operation area.Robert has been with Pacific Life since 1997, as vice president of technology in the annuities division.He received a B.S. in computer engineering, an M.S. in electrical engineering, and an MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles.He is a resident of Corona del Mar.
