Robert Hsu, VP Sales & Business Development
Mr. Hsu has more than 20 years of experience in business development, marketing, sales, product launches, product marketing and management.
Immediately prior to joining SkyPort, Mr. Hsu was vice president business development at Spacenet Inc.
He managed and led a team developing strategic global alliances, new vertical markets, and managed the company's top accounts, attributing 30% of total company revenues.
He was responsible for the formation of a new business unit leveraging the Cisco relationship, where he led the closing of an OEM agreement with Cisco with subsequent negotiations to designate Spacenet as the first Cisco certified satellite service provider in the US.
Mr. Hsu's vast experience includes leading customer teams at AT&T and Astrolink in the AT&T Customer Advisory Council and Astrolink Customer Board.
At AT&T, he managed the growth and retention of a $1 billion+ portfolio of global data services, and managed the operations and marketing of the $300 million+ Asia/Pacific Global Consumer Services division in the Asia/Pacific region.
Bob also spent a year in the non-profit world leading the strategic business development division of a non-governmental organization in the field of democracy development.
Mr. Hsu holds an MBA from Golden Gate University in San Francisco and a BA from San Francisco State University.
