Dr. Deh-phone Hsing Vice President of Engineering

Prior to joining Transtech Networks, Dr. Hsing was with Telcordia Technologies (formerly Bellcore) as the Director of a Wireless Network Management Research group investigating fault, performance, and configuration management approaches to provide service assurance in wireless networks.Deh-phone has over 15 years of industry experiences in areas related to different aspects of broadband networking issues.She was heavily involved with the technical development and national/international standardization of ATM network technology.She has worked extensively on self-healing mechanisms to provide robust service delivery with committed QoS under hard network failures as well as soft network failures in broadband networks utilizing IP, ATM, SONET, and WDM technologies.

Dr. Hsing has worked as group leader on various government funded projects.Before pursuing her career in telecommunication industry, Deh-phone held several college faculty positions in mathematics.She received her bachelor degree in applied mathematics from Chung-Hsing University in Taiwan, her Master and Ph.D degrees in mathematics from University of Rhode Island.
