PHNOM PENH, July 6 (Reuters) - Cambodian police said on Thursday they arrested a Taiwan businessman and three Cambodians in connection with the murder of the president of the Taiwan Business Association in Cambodia, Lee Chim Hsin.
``We have arrested four suspects, one Taiwanese and three Cambodians, in connection with the murder of Mr. Lee Chim Hsin, ' senior Phnom Penh police official Lek Vannak told Reuters.

Lee was shot and killed by gunmen on a motorcycle on June 29 outside his Phnom Penh home.A fellow Taiwan national, Liu Chuen Chin, was slightly wounded in the attack.
The three Cambodian suspects were arrested late on Wednesday, while the Taiwan suspect was arrested in his office early on Thursday, police said.The four are being held in detention prior to the filing of formal charges.
Lek Vannak said the detained man from Taiwan was suspected of engaging an ethnic Chinese interpreter to arrange Lee's killing after he intervened in a business dispute between businessmen from Taiwan.
Lee's murder has sent shockwaves through the Taiwan business community and sparked fears of a downturn in Taiwan investment into Cambodia.
Cambodia has no formal diplomatic relations with Taiwan, which is Cambodia's third largest source of foreign investment, most of it in the garment sector.

PHNOM PENH, July 1 (Reuters) - Taiwanese businessmen warned on Saturday that their future investment in Cambodia hinged on a successful resolution of the murder of Lee Chim Hsin, president of the Taiwan Business Association in Cambodia.
Lee was shot dead on Thursday by two motorcyclists outside his Phnom Penh home in what police are describing as a contract killing.So far no arrests have been made.
The investment warning came from a visiting delegation of Taiwanese businessmen who work in various countries throught the region.

Police told Reuters on Saturday they were investigating the possibility that Lee was killed for attempting to mediate in a business dispute between two other Taiwanese investors.

Sun Sy Har, spokesman for the Taiwanese Business Association, told Reuters that Lee's body would be repatriated to Taiwan.
