Said Dr Koo Wen Hsin, chairman of the Singapore Cancer Society, "When we looked through the programmes and the beneficiaries that were handed over to us, we noticed a little bit of discrepancies between NKF and Cancer Society's criteria.

"We are looking at probably spending about ,8 million to help the cancer community so every fundraising effort, whether it is a golf tournament, or daffodil day, flag day or perhaps another TV charity show will help towards this cause," said Dr Koo Wen Hsin, chairman of the Singapore Cancer Society.

"Without the support of the public and the philanthropic spirit of organisations like AIA Singapore, the Society will no doubt be crippled," said SCS's Chairman Dr Koo Wen Hsin.

Said Dr Koo Wen Hsin, deputy chairman of the Singapore Cancer Society, "Take for example the treatment of colon cancer.

SCS chairman Koo Wen Hsin said that the assets would be kept as a separate fund to continue to support those patients, subject to standard quarterly reviews.

Dr Koo Wen Hsin, vice-chairman of Singapore Cancer Society, said: "It'll be a lot easier for us if this mandatory 30/70 ratio is applied across the year to all the cumulative fund raising activities instead of an individual programme.
