    Lin Hsin-i, the chief economic adviser to Taiwan President Chen Shui-bian told journalists after the two-day summit that his talks with other leaders, either during the summit or on the sidelines of it, are productive and helpful.

    Lin said he conducted bilateral talks, varied from 20 minutes to 50 minutes, with some of the leaders outside the summit.
