David Hsieh joined ViewSonic in 1997 as General Manager of Asia Pacific.He is responsible for the management of the overall operations at ViewSonic International including profit and loss , budgeting , forecasting , development of employee benefits and various distributor and dealer incentives and programs.

Prior to joining ViewSonic , Hsieh was vice president of sales and marketing at Panesian Taiwan Ltd. , a computer display technology company.Previously , Hsieh was director of sales and marketing at Wyse Technology Company.

Hsieh earned a bachelor's degree in operations management from Pennsylvania State University in 1983 , and a master's degree in marketing in 1984 also from Pennsylvania State University.
