Christine Hsieh

SCAA Board member Christine Hsieh, with two adopted cats (and usually several foster kittens) found a dog and four puppies in her apartment yard area this past week. She had been feeding the mother to keep her and the puppies healthy but now many neighbors were coming around to look and Christine was worried about their safety. Indeed, so many neighbors were coming around that the dog got defensive and barked all night long to the point where the neighbors called the police to pick up the dog/puppies. Christine took off of work to defend the dog/puppies from 20 neighbors until we were able to organize to pick up the four puppies...two are now with Jaycee and two are with another amazing foster dog mom, Susie Klein (well done Christine!).
