Chih-hung Hsieh joined Vincera Ventures as Vice President of Investment in 1997.Prior to joining Vincera, Mr. Hsieh was a consultant to Allway Technology Inc. where he served as a technical Advisor on memory IC technologies and the memory market.Throughout his career, Mr. Hsieh has been at the forefront of Taiwanese-based technological innovation.He has both managed and actively participated in research efforts resulting in the development of Taiwan's first and only MPEG chipsets, first Ethernet-compatible chipsets, and first laser printer control systems.Mr. Hsieh has hands-on research and development experience that spans optical, mechanical and electrical components design and systems for a variety of consumer-based electronic products.

Mr. Hsieh has a BS in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University.

Mr. Hsieh is adept at technical analysis, industry trend research, and has comprehensive understanding on the general trends and present conditions of the electronics industry.With his expertise, Mr. Hsieh provides expert and in-depth analysis on each investment undertaken by Vincera Ventures.
