    Bryan Hryciw - Percussion Coordinator and Bands of Calgary Percussion Consultant

    Bryan Hryciw, a native Calgarian, has been extensively involved with themusic community since he picked up a violin at age five.He started his marching career as a member of the Central Memorial High School Golden Rams Marching Band and then moved on to the Calgary Stampede Showband.Bryan was lead snare, and was awarded the most prestigious award in Stampede Band, the Richardson Cup, in 2000.This was the same year the Stampede Showband won the World Championship.

    Bryan began teaching drums at Central Memorial High School in 1997.He joined the staff at the Calgary Stetson Show Band in 2000, and was honored with an invitation to teach with the Stampede Showband in 2001, where he not only instructs, but arranges music for the whole drumline.

    Bryan holds a bachelors degree in Computer Science from the University of Calgary and works as a software developer.
