"We've seen an incredible demand for the Port St. Lucie land," said Tim Hoza, project manager for the auctioneer, Karlin Daniel & Associates, based in Stuart and Orlando."People are starting to realize it's a finite product and in a few years it's gonna be worth quite a bit of appreciation."
How much appreciation is open to speculation -- as is what the lots will sell for. That latter fact, said Hoza, hasn't stymied potential buyers' efforts to pry projections out of him.
"They try me every and any which way on what they're gonna go for," he said."I do not know."
Hoza said he's getting grilled from all avenues -- literally. In the last 30 days, he's received requests for information on the properties from more than 300 people, some hailing from as far away as New York, New Jersey and Michigan. The property has piqued the curiosity of residents in Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties, too.
