1. The Contractor will contact Ed Howland at 658-0234 or 863-8669, at least one week in advance of the absence.

2. Ed will determine if the absence is due to legitimate work related issues.

3. Ed will contact the instructor and obtain lessons that must be completed by the student while gone and returned to the instructor at the first class back after the absence.

4. No more than a total of 12 hours will be allowed during the year, and no more than 6 hours in a row (2 classes).

5. If the hours are going to exceed this maximum, the Contractor must contact Ed and apply for approval for the student to complete work during this time through the correspondence program.
