Sajata Howell

Sajata Howell joined the Partnership for Strong Communities Staff in July of 2006.As the Administrator and Receptionist for the Lyceum, Sajata greets all visitors and assists the staff in all administrative matters.Prior to moving to Hartford, Sajata worked for a small family owned farming and landscaping business as a Secretary and prior to that as an Administrative Assistant at the University of the Virgin Islands for the Chancellor's Office.In addition, she also worked for Aetna and Blue Cross Blue Shield for a total of six years.

Sajata was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in the United States Virgin Islands.When she goes home at the end of the day, Sajata sees to her first job-raising her two children.In her spare time she enjoys reading, cooking, meditating, writing and performing poetry.
