Brian and I arrived early at the town meeting.The minister wasn't there so they dispensed with the prayer.There was an interesting discussion between the WIC nurse, Mary Ann, and Brian about the literacy problem in Stone County.

Brian then told about the temporary housing going up and the number of people who've applied for it and are starting to move in. So many residents want to stay in their homes even though they are badly damaged.

After the meeting Brian chatted with Mary Ann the WIC nurse in the parking lot to exchange some conversation and ideas.Mary Ann is also a home health nurse, so I asked if it was possible for her to contact the home health companies in the area to get their clients information about needing to sign up for the blue roof program ... if they can get to Wal-Mart.

We got back to the Depot and the guys were reviewing the latest FEMA information.We made a plan to get pizza buffet at the Pizza Inn.

Coming back to the Depot I saw that Brian had some more American flags in the car.I asked him what they were for.He said they brought them to replace the ones that were wind whipped from the storm.
