Brian Howard

Vari-Lite Los Angeles has also hired Brian Howard as their Technical Service Manager.Brian Howard's work in the entertainment lighting industry spans 18 years and runs the gamut from Broadway to Rock-n-Roll, Television and Film to Industrial Shows, Theme Parks and Cruise Ships.From his college theatre days in the 1980s to his current position at Vari-Lite Los Angeles, he has experienced virtually all facets of show business lighting.From 1981 to 1985, he honed his skills at Sacramento Theatrical Lighting.From 1985 through 1990, he toured for Morpheus Lights with the Grateful Dead, Huey Lewis and the News, and many others.Brian spent most of 1987 at Disneyland in their Technical Services Department and programmed moving lights for the original Broadway production of City of Angels in 1989.For the past eight years Brian has worked for Production Lighting Systems on shows ranging from the Academy Awards to sitcoms such as Full House, and Roseanne.

Anji Petruso has also joined Vari-Lite Los Angeles.Anji originally started with The Obie Company in 1994 where she began her journey into the lighting industry.There she was integrally involved in the coordination of numerous productions including Disney Imagineering's FunFair Extraordinaire ; dealer meetings for Honda, Saturn, Lexus, and BMW ; ODD PHRASING the Los Angeles, New York, New England, and San Francisco auto shows ; and many other large corporate events across the country.Anji will be a Customer Project Manager for Los Angeles based productions.
