Martha Horvitz is a member of the Bricker & Eckler government affairs & regulated industries department and the environmental practice group with a practice emphasis on CERCLA, RCRA, the Clean Water Act and the Clean Air Act.

Prior to joining Bricker & Eckler LLP, Martha served as environmental counsel to Borden, Inc., where she handled the legal aspects of environmental matters for the company, including air emisssions, wastewater discharges, solid and hazardous waste requirements, Superfund, toxic tort, permitting, noise, odors, citizen suits, acquisitions and dispositions.She has also served as an assistant attorney general with the Environmental Enforcement Section of the Ohio Attorney General's Office where she represented the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency in prosecuting civil cases involving air pollution, water pollution, solid waste, hazardous waste, Superfund, and drinking water supplies.In addition, she is a former staff attorney for the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency.

Martha is a member of the American, Ohio State and Columbus bar associations.

Martha received her undergraduate degree in 1971 from Brandeis University and her law degree in 1974 from George Washington University.
