Alan Hoppe: Alan has had a diverse career in agribusiness management.Since May 1997, he has held senior management positions within ICM and he is currently regional director, ICM Agribusiness - a group of agribusiness companies owned by ICM Australia Pty Ltd, including Peechelba Beef, operators of the ICM Peechelba feedlot.
Prior to joining the ICM Group, Alan was the business manager for the Cattle and Beef Industry Cooperative Research Centre, based at the University of New England in Armidale.The Centre had an annual budget of $9 million used for research into factors affecting meat quality.During Alan's time with the CRC it operated a 1000 head research feedlot as well as a number of lease and agistment properties, and owned some 4300 research cattle.
Alan holds a Master of Agriculture (UNE) as well as a Bachelor of Economics (QLD) and an Associate Diploma Farm Management (OAC).
