His former employer, Professor Maximillian J. Holmes, headmaster of Magic International School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, wasn't surprised at all that Lock rose to become our new minister.'I have always known he would make a name for himself, given the right opportunities. He is hard working, ambitious, highly skilled, and probably the best guy for the job,' he claims. 'His achievements speak for themselves, doesn't they?'
The headmaster does have a point there.During his time at MI School, he received many awards, among which is an award for special services for the school that he received only a few months ago, for saving the headmaster from the Dark Lord himself. He also had a lot of prestigious positions at the school, among which were Head of Duelling and Head of Slytherin, and he has also, from quite the modest position in the Auror office, turned out to be the one capturing and convicting the most Death Eaters, despite his short time there. As many as 12 (!) supporters of he-who-must-not-be-named, have he captured, and in addition, he have risen to the challenge and administered the rebuilding of most of the ministry.
Though many people seem to have an opinion of the new minister, he didn't seem to have too much to say for it himself.'I might to many be unknown, but that doesn't change the fact that I intend to do a great job as minister,'
he says before continuing. 'I'm not afraid to ask for advice or help, but I can handle almost anything.I promise that under my leadership, the ministry of magic will show itself as stronger and more decisive than ever.'
To sum it all up: our new minister could turn out to be great, or he could fail completely.Time will show, but I for one, is certain he will do great.
