   Melissa practices primarily in the area of real estate litigation and transactions. Melissa has represented lending institutions in complex commercial mortgage foreclosure cases. In addition, she has experience in representing title insurance companies and their insureds with regard to various disputes over the titles and boundaries to real property.
   
   Melissa is a member of the Florida Bar and the Escambia/Santa Rosa Bar Association.
   
   Melissa earned her B.S. degree in 1995 from the University of Florida and her Juris Doctor degree, with high honors, in 1998 from the University of Florida College of Law, where she was a member of the Order of the Coif.
