    O. Bryan Holland, M.D., has spent much of his 24-year career training other doctors, from his years as an assistant professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, his work as a professor at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, and now as the Medical Director of SETON's Austin Medical Education Programs.

    Born in Galveston, Dr. Holland spent most of his early years in east Texas.He attended the University of Texas as an undergraduate and earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.After serving in the public health service, working as a research associate for the U.S. Public Health Service Hospital in Baltimore, he trained as a resident and NIH research fellow in endocrinology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.

    Dr. Holland would like to institute a true medical campus developed around the Austin Medical Education Programs that would increase the teaching program and facilitate research.He is also interested in furthering research partnerships between Austin Medical Education Programs and the University of Texas at Austin and developing partnerships with the city's health systems.
