Former NCAA official and Alabama State Academic All-American Monique Holland has joined the ASU staff as the Associate Athletic Director for NCAA Rules Education and Compliance.
"We are pleased and excited to have Monique join the ASU athletic program," said John Knight, acting president.

"The addition of Ms. Holland to our staff gives us a highly-qualified team member with several years of experience that will expand our ability to meet NCAA standards," said Ron Dickerson, ASU interim athletic director.

Holland has spent the last three years as Georgia State University's associate director of compliance.She was instrumental in the development of the departmental compliance policy and strategic plan.She oversaw the compliance department to include Title IX and all gender equity matters and supervised the staff with adherence to Conference, University and NCAA requirements.
Prior to her post at Georgia State, Holland served as the assistant director of membership services for the NCAA, where she conducted compliance reviews at Division II institutions, among other duties.Her career includes stints at Georgia Tech as an assistant director of compliance and as assistant women's basketball coach.
Holland holds a master's degree in sports administration from Georgia State University and a bachelor of science in therapeutic recreation from Alabama State University.
