Mr. John S. Holland Sr.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Docks Creek Cemetery by Minister John Holland, with graveside rites by Kenova Masonic Lodge AF & AM 110, of which he was a member.

Walter Holland was born April 9, 1927, at Abilene, Texas, to Lamae Robinson and John S. Holland Sr.

Mr. Holland served in the Navy during World War II in the Pacific Theater.He was a sergeant for the Los Angeles Sheriffs Department.

He retired at age 51 and became a minister where he served the Lord.He founded a Christian school in Los Angeles.He moved to Fort Collins in 1984 and was called to minister at the Calvary Bible Church.He was very involved with the Living Hope Church.He loved his family and grandkids.He also loved woodworking, roses and the outdoors.
