MOULTON -- Funeral for Freeman L. Holland , 81 , of Moulton was to be today at 11 a.m. at Moulton Baptist Church with the Rev. Darryl Wood and the Rev. Larry Wright officiating.
Burial was to be in Moulton Memory Gardens with Elliott Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Holland died Saturday , Nov. 3 , 2001 , at Baptist Montclair Hospital in Birmingham.He was born Sept. 8 , 1920 , in Lawrence County to Thomas Irvin Holland Sr. and Della Gillespie Holland.He was a United States Air Force master sergeant and flew over 33 missions in the European Theater during World War II.He was a Moulton City councilman for 16 years , and a member and former deacon of Moulton Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife , Mary Katharine Holland ; two daughters , Jan Holland Stockton and Karen Holland Little , both of Decatur ; two brothers , Neal Holland Sr. and Thomas I. Holland Jr. , both of Decatur ; two sisters , Christine Cagle of Decatur and Elizabeth Bingham of Hillsboro ; and three grandchildren.
