Experience/EducationDr. Fount Holland is Vice President of the American Indian Resource Center Tahlequah, Oklahoma and a former Dean and Professor of Education at Northeastern State University.He has been a junior high school teacher and a high school principal in Oklahoma and Kansas public schools, and a consultant on Bilingual Education and Indian Education Evaluation.Dr. Holland is a member of Phi Delta Kappa, the Association of Supervision & Curriculum Development, the National Indian Education Association, and the Oklahoma Association of Bilingual Education.

About Dr. Holland

Dr. Holland has forty years experience as an educator serving as a middle school teacher, middle school and high school principal, college professor and college administrator.He has served as director of numerous federally funded regional and national curriculum development, adult education, teacher training, and technology grant programs.Dr. Holland has been heavily involved in the comprehensive school reform movement and has worked extensively in bilingual and Indian education, specifically with LEP students from the Cherokee and Creek tribes.Dr. Holland provides technical assistance to numerous school districts in northeastern Oklahoma in the development and implementation of bilingual education and GEAR UP programs.

Dr. Holland is currently serving as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Southwest Educational Development Laboratory.
