  Mr. Holland joined Margulies & Associates in 2000.He is currently working with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts to renovate an existing 345,000 square foot building in Quincy, MA. Scheduled to open by late 2005, the facility will feature a new 1,400-car parking structure.Mr. Holland previously completed projects for RSA Security in Bedford, MA; McKesson Corporation in Newton, MA; and Lois Paul & Partners in Woburn, MA. Prior to joining Margulies & Associates, Mr. Holland was the principal of his own firm, which specialized in the design of retail stores, restaurants and commercial space.Projects included the renovation of the historic Haffenreffer Brewery for the Jamaica Plain Neighborhood Development Corporation and the restoration of the historic Ralph Adams Cram Church for the First Unitarian Society in Newton, MA. Other clients included New England Medical Center, the Massachusetts Criminal Justice Training Council and Scitex America Corporation.Mr. Holland holds both bachelors and masters degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.He is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the Boston Society of Architects.

  Bill Holland, Midwest field director with the Apollo Alliance, a coalition of environmental groups and unions that is seeking a national investment in energy efficiency and renewable energy similar to the push for the Apollo space mission, said buying compact fluorescent light bulbs is more than just about saving on energy bills.
  
  "Energy efficiency is the easiest and cheapest way to reduce our dependence on foreign oil and improve the environment.It's the key first step," he said.
