Betsy Holdsworth and her husband, Sam, moved from New York to Santa Fe in 1991 with their children Tedric, Lydia, and Henry.As the mother of three, Betsy brings to the RGS Board her experience in various roles at five different independent schools.She has also served on the Alumnae Board of The Masters School in New York, her own secondary school.Her strong interest in Rio Grande has developed over the last eight years through her son Tedric's graduation in 1994 and Henry's sixth grade year at Rio Grande.

Betsy received her degrees in Nursing and Midwifery in England, was certified in the United States, and practiced in the New York City and Boston areas.No longer in practice, Betsy fills her spare hours riding horses with her daughter Lydia.
