KEENE - Altha J. Holbrook, 91, of Windsor Court, died Sept. 15 at home.She was born in Webster, Mass., the daughter of Clifford and Georgia (Fitts) Hall.She graduated from Bartlett High School and earned a degree in business in 1933 from Middlebury College, where she was active in drama and music.Holbrook moved to Keene in the early 1950s.She enjoyed the arts, traveling, reading, gardening, flowers and playing bridge.She was an avid bird watcher.She was a member of the United Church of Christ.She was also a member of the Women's Fellowship, the Woman's Hospital Aid Society at the former Elliot Community Hospital and the Woman's Auxiliary of the Cheshire Medical Center.She was a former member of the Keene Woman's Club, the American Red Cross, the Republican Woman's Club, the Friends of the Ashuelot River Park, the AARP, the Keene Country Club and the Wright Estate Condominium Association.She was a former incorporator at the Keene Invalid's Home.
