Dr. Allyson Holbrook:Dr. Holbrook began her martial arts training in 1998 at Buckeye Tang Soo Do (www.osu.edu/students/bstd) while she was attending graduate school at The Ohio State University.In December of 2001, she was awarded the rank of black belt.In August of 2002, after completing her PhD in social psychology, she moved to the Chicago area to begin her current position as an assistant professor of public administration and psychology at the Survey Research Laboratory at the University of Illinois at Chicago (www.uic.edu).
